Huntingdon showed a lot of heart tonight and didn't give up. Westview looked a little sloppy...typical of an early season Westview team. Great win guys.

Both teams commited mistakes but Huntingdon gave this game away.

Congrats on the win and great game Westview I think we will both have a good year this year.  I am happy with the loss as this is a young mustang team with not many seniors most sophmores and juniors with a freshmen or 2 as well.  Turnovers killed us though, but that is expected with us being young and all.  I think the loss will help them kids to improve and not get too big a head.  Good crowd support by stang fans as well tonight.

You must have misunderstood, they are playing Westview not Dresden. It'll be a good game and I say it's a toss up. Westview by 1.

I was waiting on an excuse from Huntington fans. I knew it was going to come. Youth isn't what made a difference tonight for Huntington. Westview's defense was strong for three quarters against them and caused the turnovers. Both teams had costly mistakes. Westview pulled it out in the end but once again a great down to the wire game between two good teams! Good luck to both teams the rest of the season!!

That wasn't a excuse, when you dont have experience you are going to make mistakes if you dont think so you are mistaken unless someone else made the comment besides me as well.  I wasnt one of the cocky fans this week but whatever give you your kicks.  Yep they both made mistakes and I've been saying last few weeks Westview takes some time before they get everything together, and they made mistakes.

 

Its ok twist my words if you want to saying it was a excuse.  WOW

Thanks...lucky every now and then. I figured it could go either way. Huntingdon is stout and will be very stout next year. UC and Huntingdon could have a good little battle down the road. UC are playing like Champions and still will be heavily favored. They seem to be on a mission to destroy everyone through the first 2 games.
