SweetScience
Sweet what were your thoughts on Farragut? Does West need to be worried heading down there in three weeks? Keep Tanner Thomas' yards to a minimum and you beat Farragut. Pretty much that simple. They have no passing game really to speak of. We had a couple of plays that if we connect on the score could've been worse, but we didn't capitalize. Y'all should handle them.
Knoxvul
No question about it, the Rebels of West get sent back to the outhouse this week. Won't even be close! Maryville by 21+!

rebelwoman87
I appreciate the modesty from some of you Maryville fans, but C'mon! This game won't be close and you know it! This 2014 Maryville team is much better than the 2012 team that West gave fits to.We has some good athletes that year- Prevo, Myers, west, Carroll just to name a few. True, but Myers isn't/wasn't near the threat to run the ball and pass it like Vaught is. Vaught may not be as well seasoned passing the ball YET as Myers was, but he is a bigtime threat to run the ball. Prevo was good, but I'm not sure sure if Burgess/Shynski and Co aren't better. And the defense is by far and away better than the 12 squad was. This Maryville team would beat that one by 14+ IMO.

Personally I like bruisers like Burgess. Both are great.

I always liked Tony Dorsett like smallish speedsters but Burgess will be a great one

But, I am a Bears fan, too. Nobody was tougher LB for LB than Sweetness. 195 soaking wet and saw him LAY OUT many of LBers Edited August 30, 2014 by SweetScience

Wish I knew how good he was going to be, I'd have paid more attention to the game. Lol. I was like 10.
