Maybe if DeKalb had been able to schedule a fourth game against FC Boyd they would have more prepared to defend without fouling.

I don't want to hear that kind of nonsense.  In a 3 point game both teams will be playing hard and for one team to shoot 38 free throws vs 8 of the other team, someone got some big time home cookin in my opinion.  No worries though as the wrong will be righted tonight when they travel to TTU to play against Upperman.  I guarantee you they won't shoot half that many foul shots against Upperman tonight :)

Are you saying Upperman won't foul or won't get called (or both).

Were you at the game between Dekalb and Sequatchie? I'm guessing by your response you wasn't so you're merely repeating hearsay from someone from that area. I said neither nor did I imply anything other than Upperman was much more aggressive than Dekalb was so if the refs didn't help Sequatchie win the game by awarding them every call during their home game then they would shoot even more free throws. Now how did they fare tonight in the free throw department?

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
