I think GQ only makes adjustments as the game progressess.  Seldom do I ever reconize The rebels changing any game plan.  Unless it is a game why change.

 

For my MHS fellow followers I see the USA Today fish wrap, has another contest going to find the best HS Football program in the country.  Go online at WWW.contest.usatodayhss.com to vote for the Rebels.  Maryville ofcourse is the best overall Program in the history of HS Football in the state but the contest is based upon votes.

Went to practice tonight and they went for a long time. Was glad to see GQ taking some time and working the younger players out real good under the lights since they get to play a lot of the second half's  of these ballgames. I really enjoy watching the younger kids play and getting some real game experience for the future. It's a total shame or even a disgrace to watch a team come in here and keep the same eleven in all the way to the end of the game with thirty or forty kids setting on the sidelines watching and then wonder how Maryville keeps reloading every year. Coaches that think that way are only digging their own grave and hurting their program and all the kids involved that have put so much time in only to be rewarded a sideline seat to a game. Shame on some of those coaches and we know who you are and good luck rebuilding for next year's crummy season.

Stat from last Friday:  first 7 series on offense - Tyler V. lead the team to one TD with 4 tries, Austin E. lead the team to 3 TD's with 3 tries.  Tyler gives MHS a very dangerous threat on the outside at WR.  Only time will tell.

Hope #1 stays healthy.......MHS will need his senior "leadership" in a close hard fought game....Vaught is able to use his legs to get the offense out of trouble on a busted play. Vaught "knows" the offense, will have players lined up with the right calls and can take care of the football.
