Let me ask you a question. I was talking to that man at Ronnies red eye earlier and he said that Ross man might have been spying to see if that Jones boy was going to be able to play so he could train his boys for him. You think im joking but im not.

That's why Ross was spying to see if sp had anyone fast that could train our boys. Funny thing was that there is not any fastness left at the speed bump.

Sp will win this region easily...even with an average team....whitwell and bc will fight for second....I know a bunch of these kids and I'm telling you sp has the skill players...the line is a HUGE question...but they have something they didn't have last year and that's guys that can run....they may have the fastest kid in the valley at wing this year...by far not saying world beaters because were building back up...but....these young guys will be very exciting to watch...will have some growing pains...but these kids know how to win...jamborees next Friday!!!! We have a very long way to go Pirate Mike. This team should be a little better than last season, but still nowhere near 2005-2013 teams. I'm thinking along the lines of the 2001 or 2002 in comparison for you younguns.

Athens newspaper. Scrimmage results differ according to the eye of the beholder. 

That is incorrect---the first Pirate TD was againt McMinn's First-string defense. I was at the scrimmage...And the 2nd TD was against the second string with a couple starters coming back in when we approached the goal line.
