Oh yes love me some Pals chili dogs. Had em twice last week!  I'll sit where ever the rest of Oak Ridge sits been doing it for years. Some of your older fans may remember my motorhome in the parking lot about 4:00 before the game Glad we're playing again. But still don't like the outfield and I have sat with the DB fans before. If you're inside the fence ya got it made.

Look foward to watching the Cats get better each week.Maybe our crowd will be loud on the road. Its sad that these KIDS work so hard and even with a huge crowd your could hear a pin drop on the Oak Ridge side Friday. The great Dean Smith said it best when he said its amazing what you can accomplish when nobody cares who gets the credit. To many selfish people care about what they want and not whats best for the team.Clinton fans was loud when they gained a yard.I have faith in the TEAM which is players, coaches and everybody involved.

If you think none of the coaches care who gets credit, then you're living in a dream world.

im confused by DB....when my Devils scrimmaged them, they didnt look very impressive, but then i see they demolished THS, who pretty much handled us in a scrimmage....translation....scrimmages mean squat for the regular season...i know nothing about OR, except they're usually good. I'll pick the injuns since the battle is on their reservation..... 24-21

I got no clue how to put a dang picture on this site

Visitors side =

1 large section (250/300) behind end zone

1 very large section (500) from back of end zone to the 35 yd line

3 small sections starting at the 45 and stopping at opposite 25 yd line (150 ea)

Congrats to the Vols for landing the Wildcat WR!!! Awesome, maybe one of our fine 5-8 DB's will be able to cover him with some help. DB does have a very good defensive backfield

Who is DB - DBs - Barrett I know is good with great speed, does one of the Rodgers play in backfield? Haven't been able to keep up with them as much this year ... Starting this week I will though

BVD, I said this on another post but it bears repeating....  in the DB game the THS defense were giving DB's runner high fives as he blew by them.    It wasn't even 2 hand touch, THS just didn't want to have any contact on defense.      So like you say, this is very confusing how they could play you guys so tough and then just totally fold against DB.

DB fans - don't get upset, not taking anything away from DB's running backs here, I thought they played very well, but you have to admit that THS couldn't tackle their way out of a paper bag.

If there are any Atomic Wildcats fans reading this, your  defense better step up and be very physical against DB or they will take you to the cleaners in a hurry.

#7 Barrett & #15 Polinski - both Jr.'s and both started every game as Soph's last season. Those 2 are also the deep backs on punts. Barrett is deep for kick-offs - Polinski had the best tackle of the night against TN High...picked the back up drove him back and flattened him

#5 Thompson is playing some safety - #16 Rodgers some - DB has so many good athletes - they can bring in for action

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
