Speaking of silly...I'm still hearing that some of the "outside influences" are stalling the hiring process because Marley is still "available"!!! Trying my best not to bash anyone's program...but just to state facts...Marley could pick literally half a hundred more appealing jobs just by making a phone call. Sorry to sound negative toward MCHS's program, but someone has to decide who the best available applicant is and pull the trigger, provided that they would still be interested.

I agree. A lot of teams start spring practice in March. They need to get something done.

They don't have to do that, winning does that for you, and losing does that for mchs. They like to blame everything on Aville recruiting when in reality everything they have reaped was sown long ago, and they are continuing to sow what will become less than fruitful harvests.

I agree...didn't mean to imply that anything underhanded was going on, just that the dumpster fire in Selmer was costing them players.

Well McNairy Central's AD Brian Franks will be the new football coach for the Bobcats. This was interesting because if it took this long, I would assume they will try to bring in an outsider. Don't know exactly how Bobcat fans feel about this move. There's a lot of time from now til August 19th, hope they can take advantage of that time.

First they had to pretend to interview and do their due diligence. Expect more of the same. Good football coaches don't hide in plain sight...but buddies do

Politics as usual. You will hear the new coach and A.D. Say we were limited in who we could hire because of supplements. Don't believe it, this was the plan all along. He will now be A.D., baseball coach and football coach and teach zero classes. So what will his supplement be based on? A teachers salary? He is not a teacher. Mchs supporters can zip it for sure now about RECRUITING, no one is better at it than this guy.

UNBELIEVABLE. He resigned as a football coach and now he's the top man. Fact probably is that they couldn't get anybody else to take the job and have settled. He can't do all 3 jobs well. Can't be done. Expect sports on the hill to continue to go down the toilet
