Those guys on the line did a great job, especially after moving there from the positions they had always played, and man was those inside backers fun to watch! It's amazing how rice keeps plugging holes year in and year out that's caused by graduation.

Oh yeah, it also displayed their character. You don't see that often, kids giving something up to better the team. Lol look at Jalen Hurd... there were a few that quit when I played because they didn't get to play the position they wanted to.

I hate when that happens! There was a kids dad mad one year after a youth game and when I asked what was wrong he said his kid only got to run the ball three times! My answer was mine didn't run it any lol, but that's the way I like it!

I hope that guy moved on. The teams we've had recently are some of the most unselfish kids. It's all about ring chasing with this group. Just good team ball.

It's been that way for awhile now, the boys are just as excited when their team mate makes a play than they are to make it themselves
