Gordonsville is getting primed to have some good playoff matchups with SP again after having to go west the last few years.

There isn't any perrenial major players in our region besides us, but that doesn't mean we'll walk through it.

We have a very good bunch of juniors and sophomores that I'm excited to see in the next couple of years.

Wayne Co and Dresden lose Mr Football finalists. Huntingdon loses 2 very good backs and their best receiver. Should come down to those 3. Dresden should walk to semi-finals where they will play WC/Huntingdon

How many seniors did they lose this season? So your juniors and sophomores are good? How are your freshman and 8th graders or is it just a few good classes coming up? Everyone thinks that Lake County is going to be average like the past few season. The falcons are extremely young and return 28 sophomores and freshmen next year. I have been around football for along time and I'm telling everyone LC is primed for the next 5 or 6 years to have teams like they had in the 70s, 80's and early 90s. LC will be very good come playoff time next year and after that everyone better watch out. This is the most young talent LC has had in many years. LC will be a major threat in the west for awhile. If not I will gladly eat my crow.

I'm with you, if they keep up the development there could be something special brewing out in Lake Co

it is pitiful. For us and y'all. There's one competitive game all year that matters. It ruins the teams when the playoffs come around. And ruins the towns' interest in the season

UC will not get any of them. Out of all the teams that are going to be in the region who has a better coaching staff? Dresden right now but I think they will have a shake up next season. Just an opinion. Humboldt no way and the reminder of the region do not have any coaching staffs any better most are not very good. LC coaching staff done a good job this season with such a young team. I have watched the current head coach at LC since day one and he gets better e every year. The region will be between Lake Co and Dresden over the next 4 years. Like I said I will gladly eat my crow if I'm wrong.

I personally have enjoyed the season and playing these new teams, WC had been in the same region for years and it was time for something new. There's some teams tat will eventually compete with HHS and WC, that's just 1a football. WC has packed their stadium every game!
