What were their finishes during those four year? Semi-final, semi-final, semi-final, runner-up?

 

I can't think of another school that has had that type of a run in the past four years. Maybe you are on to something in that regard. Maybe somebody can post something that rivals that.

 

However, Marion County, in 2A, has finished the last three years in a row as the runner-up. Would that be considered as another example of a good team that hasn't won the whole ehchilada? Or does a 2A team count?

The year before that I think they lost to Trousdale in the qtrs or semis. That's a great 4 year run without a ring

Oak Ridge , unfortunately has had some periods where they were very talented but could not win it all. Both Riverdale and Oakland ended Oak Ridge's runs at various times.

They've had loads of talent but couldn't get it done.  That can definitely affect off-season recruiting.

Then their recruiting coordinator should be fired for letting Justice Dingle and Litaker leave. I think Maryville has proven that having talent doesn't mean your a lock to win state

From '08-'12 Milan went 65-9 with four runner up finishes and a semi appearance in the one game they didn't make the championship. Had several kids go on to play college ball in that time and even on go on to the nfl. Definitely should qualify.
