I'M GOING TO WEIGH IN ON THIS. THESE BOYS AT FORREST ARE USE TO BEING IN THESE SITUATIONS. THEY HAVE SUCCEEDED IN THESE SITUATIONS. THEY HOWEVER DO NOT HAVE THE TALENT ON THE FIELD THEY HAVE IN YEARS PAST. THEY NONETHELESS STILL HAVE THE DRIVE. THEY HAVE HAD SEVERAL PENALTIES/TO AT THE MOST INOPPORTUNE TIMES. IF THIS WERE A DIFFERENT TEAM TO FACE ON FRIDAY I WOULD SAY WE COULD PLAY A MAJOR UNDERDOG ROLE. FINAL ON THIS ONE 42-21!

I think you have this game pegged. I picked Forrest to win their region before the season because of the reasons you stated, and I too think that they are better than they have shown so far. Trouble is, they have the misfortune of playing a team that will probably overwhelm them, even if they step up their level of play. Only thing I think you missed is the score.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
