Courtney Pritchett of Pickett County and Kinsley Logan of Moore County should both be strong considerations for finalists. Both can PLAY!! And both are the glue that are holding their AP Top 10 teams together.

Courtney has 3 state tournament appearances and multiple MVP awards in her career and looks poised for another state run. Her resume definitely says Miss Basketball finalist, probably as much as anyone in the state this year in Single A.

Hannah Garrett from Clarkrange should get serious consideration for  Class A Miss Basketball .She is a  great team player and helped lead her team to two Sate Runner ups  -2015-as a freshman and 2017 as a junior. When your team beats teams to death and you only play 2 or 3 quarters you dont average 25 per game .she is one of the best all around players in the Upper Cumberland and the best  Class A Defensive Player that I have seen

I totally disagree.  I do think she is a good high school player.  I just don't think she is one of best 3 in Tennessee.  I really don't think she is the best player on her team or the district.  She struggles against girls that are close to her in size and only an average shooter.  I don't mean this in a bad way toward her. I wish her only the best and am a fan of their team.

To provide background knowledge on this statement, my understanding is that she has 2 games in the last week or two that she had 1 point and 0 points. That being said, she is really good player. However, IMO she is not top 3 in the district, let alone in the state.

The best player in this district is Pritchet. She should definitely receive consideration for Miss Basketball.

I heard that Chloe Moore ( Greenfield) had 20 points by HALFTIME of their win against Union City tonight. She should definitely be a Miss Basketball finalist. Having a strong season so far.

Tasia Jones is also having a big season, even though she's not a scorer, she's the unquestioned leader of the Westview team.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
