Yes. To my knowledge the 1st time a defending 6A state champion lost to a 3A school. I have heard a few folks say the win over Maryville didn't mean that much because it was a rivalry game. I was just showing that as great as Maryville has been, the win was significant and can't be dismissed as a fluke or "throw out the record when these teams play" anomaly .

It would be disrespectful to both teams. Does that make sense?
