I’d also say out of the 2 Jackson schools, north side might have the edge on south side. I know south sides record looks better but north side has played a very tough schedule, this Friday night will see who’s better from there.

It must be said that Dyersburg took both North Side and Haywood to the shed.

Not this year lol

Lol.  I follow them on Twitter, and they're still going hard in the weight room. All it takes is one bad night. Brentwood Academy has lost 2 straight, and had one of the longest win streaks in the State.  Anything can happen DevilMan. Once the playoffs start they can't have one off night. Everyone is gunning for them.  I think all 4A teams know who they're likely to see in the Championship.

I'm predicting either Springfield, or Southside out of the West vs. Greeneville or Maplewood, or Anderson County in the East.  Don't all you Devil fans chime in at once.  I know Greeneville is a machine. Machines break down sometimes

Have not seen Springfield but Dyersburg and Haywood both would beat Southside.

I'm a Springfield fan. Dyersburg i know nothing about. I hear they're pretty good. Both games were close last year. I'd probably give the edge to Southside as the tougher game. Haywood looks the part (looked like a college team) Southside had athletes. I think I'd give the edge in coaching to Southside as well. Haywood also had to travel last year. New year though.

Forgot about Dyersburg.  I don't know much about them.  Are they pretty good??

9-0. Beat the brakes off Haywood. I was very surprised cause during pregame warmups Haywood looked much bigger and I thought Dyersburg was in trouble. Then the whistle blew and they picked Haywood part. They have had a couple of games where they have played down to the level of their opponent. But they are very talented, well coached and have lots of potential.

IMHO, whoever comes out of the West will more than likely have to go thru Dyersburg at some point. From what I’ve read on here and some West Tennessee news outlets, they’re a solid football team

The semi finals on the west side of the 4A bracket will be played at either Dyersburg or Haywood. Whoever wins that rematch in round 3 will host round 4. I see no one in regions 7 and 8 that can compete with them. Hopefully Springfield gets to come visit in round 4, but that’s a LONG way off right now. We have a lot of work to do before that happens.
