Totally underrated......Oline isn’t any good but produced two 100 yard rushers in the semifinals. Hmmmm

Whitwell has the line play to win it all. Held GB to 21 last night and had two that ran for over 100 yds. It's good enough to win the gold ball. That's all that matters.

#31 not being a finalist for MR. Football still a head scratcher. Kid can line up and play multiple positions at a high level.... I know last night added a little extra juice going against Mr. Football.

If they win state they will appear in the second page box scores lol In all seriousness, I hope Whitwell does take it home. Greenback, Whitwell, SP, Huntington, and Cornersville were my top 5 going into the season and it stayed pretty consistent other than Lake County. I'll be the first to say I've been critical of the Tigers. I just don't think their line play is any good. I still don't. However, when you trot out 5 all-State skill players you can make up for a lot of deficiencies. Sometimes you need a little luck to win it all to go with skill. This is their year. Cornersville will be ran over by Petty and Wingo.

Lol! This team has Heart and doesn't quit

Bulldogs?? Can be a fierce animal if train to be. Especially pit bulldogs. Cornersville you get you meanest and most fierce bulldogs you got. Whitwell is just going to open the gate a let the TIGERS out for a little snack of dog!! I got a feeling your in for a tough day next Saturday!! Your no doubt very good defensively..my gosh 10 straight shutouts!! But you ain't played Whitwell!! To many weapons..IF WERE HEALTHY? Looking forward to a good clean hard hitting game. Tigers get healthy and mentally ready..then just play!

Who is Whitwells best offensive lineman?

Wanna see his matchup with number 65 for us

Didnt see anyone stand out,Our Dline made alot of plays and in the back field alot. Our LB play wasnt great didnt wrao up they broke those two big runs in the first. After the half didnt hurt us much between the tackles.Halfback pass was executed well and our safety was caught watching.GB sustained long drives running the ball took up almost the whole third quarter. But all it takes is 1 miscue and 1 big play!

    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.

    • MTD (Stanley Black and Decker) and UTM are the only thing keeping Westview's numbers up. Are school enrollments dropping in those listed schools too or just athletic rosters?
