District 5AAA 2019-2020

Not much talking in this thread. Maybe because the same team has won the District the last 10+ years. 
Was hoping some fans of other teams in the District would get on from time to time and have a dialogue like the 6AAA people do in that thread. 
Would probably help the conversation if someone knocked Bradley off. Who has the best chance this year, East Ham or Cleveland?

Bearettes havent missed a beat. Looks lile district 7 isnt as strong as in years past. Stone memorial beat riverdale and cleveland beat blackman. East hamilton is already 3-0. Will probably play bradley in the la quinta finals saturday which means counting district and region tournaments tjey could end up playimg each other 5 times...6 of borh make it to state but thata WAY doen the road. Bradley looked pretty good against a very good baylor team. Cleveland beating blackman and stone beating riverdale was perhaps the biggest upsets of the week

East Ham has the best chance, but I dont think they do it. Walker and Blair from Bradley are a tough duo.

East Ham lost to Maryville, so they arent 3-0

EH also lost to Stone Memorial by 24 this week.

 

Also I think Cleveland beat Oakland not Blackman.

Stone destroyed EH. I think district 6AAA is going to make some noise in this years region tourney. Stone, Cookeville, and White County are all very capable teams.

Stone was ahead of both Riverdale and EH by 30 before Buck cleared the bench and put the freshmen in. I worried when Capps went down in the first quarter against EH ( thankfully she is ok,) but Stone ended up with five more players in double digits. They are playing fantastic team ball so far. It’s early, but I don’t know that I would consider any of their wins an upset this season if they continue to play like this.

White County only winning by 6 at home to a down McMinn team is very surprising.

I don’t know about cream of AAA, but Stone and Bradley are definitely way ahead in 5AAA and 6AAA.

My pick for 3A this year is Farragut.

That’s basketball, some nights things just don’t go your way. I still think 6AAA is the better district this year.
