Greenback at Meigs County

I haven't seen Greenbacks team play this year, so I really can't give a accurate guess as to who might win. I know Greenback saw us in the Jamboree and the Sweetwater game and left chompin at the bit. I like our chances if we correct some of the mistakes that we had against Sweetwater. Fortunately I feel we are loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and are just having a few blocking issues that if are corrected this week will make us very capable of having a good season and ups our chances this Friday. At this point it will depend on how bad the kids want to get it right before Friday as I know they can do it. Go Tigers!

After seeing Loudon in that Jamb i was very confident also, but after about 5 mins of the opening quarter i couldnt for the life if me figure out who the team in Orange and Black was??The Red team i had seen before and they were very excited to be in Greenback, the other team must have forgotten who they were and where they were at!Almost mercy ruled at home should have woken them up for this week but time will tell i guess.

They should reflect on last week at least one more week before practicing. Just my opinion.

After watching film wouldn't be surprised to see some new personnel on the O line this week. I feel like the boys are putting extra time in preparation and film watching this week rather than volleyball games. May not make any difference but from what I have seen the Tigers are hungry. I know the atmosphere is gonna be incredible don't think getting up for this game will be a problem.

You must have a hard time following what im saying.lol.Because thats EXACTLY what im talking about.Meigs,Seq,Loudon,Lenoir City are teams we all schedule to make us better because other than Coalfield and OS our regions arent very good.Yours is really down since Whitwell went back to being Whitwell.I wouldnt be surprisef if Copper Basin isnt second to you all this year.

You must have a hard time reading anything except what you post becaue  I was agreeing with you.  I also think Copper Pan may have a little something going on.  That said, Whiwuhl shouldn't be getting shelled like they did but now I don't know if they can put the wheels back on that paper tygger.

Man I cant call it on this one right here ! Them GreenBack Indian type fellars pulled a reverse Custers last stand last week !!

I’m just glad I get to see two of the top teams in the East. I will be able to compare them to our teams over here in West a whole lot better.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
