Good and bad news is we have one more practice until put up or shut up time.

That there will be what fixes 95% of our woes I believe on our team right now. The 17 Rockwood game was a good game but with Aaron not hurt I'd hate to think it would have had the same outcome. He did account for 4 running touchdowns and 3 passing ones in that game in the regular season.

Leadership on the field is underrated by most but it is a must in football.

This game is what high school football should be.. 2 communities proud of their kids and their school. Should be a nice night and great crowd.  The outcome will be decided by which line plays the best

That's the reason I posted the link Roy.  That Ryan man said they decided to make some changes as far as personnel goes.

The best kicker we’ve ever had graduated this past year .... so it’s still a work in progress at the moment with the new one. I don’t know what grade he’s in though.

Braxton Fox may have been the best kid only missed a couple and hit some long FGs (but missed half a season for ACL)not to mention his twin sister filled in when he tore his ACL and she only missed one in 2012.

I had forgotten about him. But his sister was good for sure

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
