Guys I understand but something has to stop its about the kids they some how got to quit allowing the kids to get punished and make the schools be accountable

something has to change either the schools have to do better or T$$aa but something has to change

I get your feelings, but feelings aside...coaches/schools understand the rules...therefore they should abide by the rules..........and also know if you don't abide, and YOU GET CAUGHT, you're gonna pay! Unfortunately yes, ultimately it's the "other kids" that pay, and THAT SHOULD make all in administration guarandamntee there's no rules violations...............but we're talking about adults here <_<

On one hand I do agree that many bystanders are punished for the indiscretions of a few... on the other hand you have to allow for the possibility that those wins would have been losses without the ineligible player, and if you don't forfeit the wins, some other team misses the playoffs... there's no way to punish those at fault without collateral damage to the innocent. TSSAA's rules are posted, and as they say, ignorance of the law is no excuse. Add to all that the fact that there was prior knowledge (as posted on here weeks ago) that this would happen. If the "public" knew about it, the coaches and administration can't play the "what did I do wrong?" card.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
