Where did McGill start his HS career?? Both teams have the majority of talent from their own backyard but don't act like the Rebels haven't benefited from transfers Pot and Kettle is not a good comparison. McGill transferred to Maryville as a freshman and was not the #1 rated player in the state. I don't have a problem with it, though. I do have one question. Would Ravenwood have hired Grimes' father if he didn't have a talented son to bring with him? Edited November 30, 2019 by MLREB

Do you honestly think Mr. Grimes would be the coach there without having the number one prospect in the state coming along with him. I don't know the answer there, maybe you do. Definitely gonna be a good game. Both schools have talent on the field. Both schools have good coaches. Both recruit very well. Each school has money in the pedigree. Both schools come into the game with the same mindset that they are better than everyone else. Good 6A match up to finish up the season. BarneySox2007
Back in my day I remember that we would get a Foreign Exchange Student for whom the whole school loved. Now schools get a Foreign Exchange Football Player for whom the whole town loves.

A team like Ravenwood is not just going to hire a coordinator to get a player for one year. The Raptors have plenty of division 1 talent without him. Barney wants to throw stones at other programs but get all in a tizzy when it can come back your way. When Hodge was out with injury earlier this year McGill played a large role in getting the Rebels victories. Like someone said both of these programs have top notch coaches, players, fan bases, and traditions. There was no need to take a off color jab at Ravenwood.
