Had heard of this quite a while back. The fact it's still being done would seemingly be intentional.

The mayor of Lauderdale County today said officials were mistaken the numbers in his county today. I also have a buddy who had to get tested for his work and he did a test where you got your results that day and it came back positive, so he was really in denial about so he went and got it done again and had it sent off and the test was negative. So I guess watch where you get one done

That's crazy honestly. Same thing happened to Jimmie Johnson the driver. He hadnt missed a race in ages and had a positive test. Retested and it was negative.

Administrators and Head Football Coaches:

At Wednesday afternoon’s meeting, the Board of Control plans to select a contingency plan for the 2020 football season. The state office staff has prepared a video explaining the proposed options, as well as describing a recently-developed “hybrid” option that draws on elements from all the plans previously presented to the Board, while incorporating the feedback received from administrators and coaches in the past few weeks.

While the early plans assume that contact practice will be able to start on Aug. 30, the “hybrid” proposal makes no such assumption and accounts for the possibility of a different start date, regardless of whether it comes before or after Aug. 30.

I want to see football this fall more than anyone. But I have a thought. If the tssaa is meeting in a giant lecture hall to maintain physical distancing and all in the meeting are required to wear a mask are we really ready for contact in pads??

    • Looks like South Pittsburg added some more talent!
    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
