Doing all that we can in the current state of confusion. Great to hear from you "other" Lions!!!

Seriously, I hope that all is as well as could be expected there... y'all working toward kickoff?

Man just taking it one step at a time. Administration has been addressing parents and students about the work outs and leading into what will be expected during the season. The parents were informed of the covid guidelines and then ended The information letting every parent and student Know that the work outs and sports is voluntary and no one is made to participate. Some parents are not allowing their kids and some are full throttle ahead with the extracurricular activities.

You know me  I am Full throttle for football.  I have One more that will be in 8th grade so now it will be warp speed and then he will be graduated.  Then I can Start making rounds watching all schools play ball

Cherish those next four, because they'll be memories tomorrow... but take heart, It's on to the grandkids now for me, and it looks like I've got three pretty good athletes (so far)! If it's not exactly the same, it sure feels like it.

When you start making those rounds come on over to Milan. You oughta have enough purple to fit in. We will over look the sweater vest. :)

Can't find anything to complain about BPM... doing better than I deserve! Keeping up with the stadium through some buds that deliver there once in a while, and they say that it's awesome how the parts are coming together. Hope you had a good visit, and wishing you and yours the best!

All that is not necessary if Lee amends his executive order. He's waiting on TSSAA's "plan of action" before deciding. Why wasn't this plan created in May or June? Why didn't the governor reach out to the state's high school sports governing body and give them a heads up about his concerns or requirements?

because he is summers eve

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
