Maybe catch a livestream. Read the msn article about the "testing". With the amount of false positive and false negatives you may as well flip a coin. https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/dozens-many-nursing-home-residents-receive-false-positive-results-from-public-lab/ar-BB16YMgz Agree, and if you don’t like my cigar, then get out of my face. Does each school develop their own policy on when/if a kid needs to be tested? Is that the plan?

So 157 deaths between the ages of 15-24 to covid-19 in 6 months in the USA would be 84,000 dead school kids during the school year ? The 13,000 all died from something other than covid-19 in that time period ! Schools need to reopen with or without sports !

But this virus is a minuscule risk even compared to other common illnesses. That’s the point. We have to quit this fear of death. Death stinks, but it happens in all shapes and sizes. We must persevere and live life! We know now more than ever how to do so safely and smartly too, which is yet another positive. I choose positivity and optimism. I choose life, not panic and fear. This macho attitude in the face of this pandemic with 140.000 dead AMERICANS plus the dead across the world. is uncalled for. I may be wrong but if Jesus came back to Earth he would tend to his flock in a caring manner and discourage negative threatening one liners. I apologize if my truth upsets you. You can blast me, I can take it. I was an Elementary Classroom teacher for 23 years and now that school is opening back up it is very disturbing to me. I have been asked if I would go back to the classroom by a Principal friend but I am afraid right now. Add in, I have diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and two heart attacks. So blast me because I blast myself all the time. I am a coward.

I would just say the overall stats verify that kids are not at risk and most of society will never get the virus or have little to no symptoms. It’s certainly a personal responsibility issue and you are right about that 100%!

Teachers will be fine. Just have to be careful like the rest of us do when we are out. Kids rarely get it and rarely transmit it. I wouldn’t say you are a coward. If I had health issues I would be real careful even if we didn’t have Covid.
