Knox Catholic doesn't look very good at all. Haven't showed up. Unfortunately all areas, offense/defense, coaching, scheme. Thought they were better than this. Look to have good kids, got talent just not happening. smh

Completely getting handled on the los. Winton is out with a hammy but I don’t think it would have matter.

You are wrong. Knox Catholic is very good. Just impossible to beat the best talent in Texas. Also shows it is not about coaching, just great talent. You could even have won this game if you were coaching the Texas team and Deion would have lost if he was coaching KC.

There are very good regional private school programs, and then there are elite private school programs who compete on a national scale.

Knoxville Catholic is a very good regional private school program, but Dallas Trinity Christian is a national elite program, and it showed today.

Catholic has a tough couple of weeks coming up, hosting Ensworth and McCallie the next two weeks.  It will especially be tough if TW3 is still out with his hammy issue.

Come On now, Catholic didn't look very well at all. Couldn't tackle, couldn't cover easy(simple) routes. Offense was non existent. And no it certainly wasn't Dion, they didn't look to be that good themselves, it was just easy. They didn't do anything special. QB is definitely FAU level not FSU.KC got no pressure, covered no one & tackled poorly.  I actually expected KC to win going in.  Did think they(TC) got away with alot of holding & some obvious offensive PI several times(other R's blocking b4 catch)however . Additionally don't see Martin playing QB in Power 5

Get your team to play KC since they are so bad.

What is TN vs National teams?

Dion is now 1-1 verse TN hs's, he had a Deon Academy team initially that was terrible. Terrible teams were destroying them. I was told they finally quit, didn't even finish several games knowing they were gonna get mercy ruled. I actually think this Knox Catholic team(has the athletes despite what we saw today) & a dozen or so other TN schools can beat this TC team

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
