LC has the potential to be a very good 1A team by the end of the year. In no way possible will they be as good as last year. LC is a pretty young team that I expect to be alot better by the end of the year. The cupboard is far from bare in Lake County.

I agree, there's just a lot of question marks for Region 5 until region play starts. They're typically a pretty balanced region unlike Region 3 where there's usually a clear 1, a clear 2, and the rest. 

The way I see it, there are 2-3 serious teams in the east this year. One clear #1 and 2 contenders. 

The west is more of a mystery at this point in time.

Everyone else is in a tie until someone knocks off one of these teams. South Pitt has a  good team every year and deserve the number one spot.  This is not to say that other teams dont have good years or a couple good years. We all know that every year everyone is talking about South Pitt and what they got. If you're going to state, then you gotta face them sometime.

Our lunch ladies serve up a lot of pancakes.  So I'd have them a bit higher ranked.

I was shocked to see Roy’s goat herd not in the top ten.

Pretty accurate but I would put South Pittsburg’s marching band in there somewhere and I would probably have South Pittsburg pre- k a little bit higher! Lol

SP has skill guys that will put them in position most games. I want to see what happens when a team plays smash mouth with us and can actually execute. 1,2, and 4 need to commit to playing both ways if they want a shot at the bacon.

I like the idea of the qb being able to rest on defense but you need your best players out there when possible. Sp has a lot of good skill players no doubt,  but Frame is on a different level from what I've seen on film. I'd have bubble wrap on him when he's not playing.

South Pitt's nursing home at 10??? Sorry, but that's a senior heavy team with a lot of experience. I would have put them at least top 5 with that much experience. Granted, they may play an old school kind of ball but you know they'll grind it out.
