Winner, winner... chicken dinner!!! Should be evermore referred to as the Bland curse. If you could ever say that karma has caught up with someone, Humboldt is the example. Wrecked a proud and longstanding football tradition with one underhanded move.

We got him for a year when Woods was in his first year. The boosters got him out because they said “ he couldn’t coach” I’m sorry if there are any Humboldt posters on here, but the program will never recover and wouldn’t surprise me if they shut the program down.

I think you're right. I thought that they'd be down for a while and come back with another coaching change, but with the programs all around Humboldt improving and their enrollment numbers dropping off a cliff, I think that they've gone too far to come back and be a traditional power again... ever. Justice served for those in power, but a sad thing for the kids and true Viking football fans.

The Lake County at Humboldt football game will be broadcast on WJPJ, 99.9 FM and 1190 AM in Humboldt. It will also be available at http://www.gibsoncountyradio.com . Stan Gerard, AKA Reitz Fan, will have the call of the game. The Countdown To Kickoff Pregame Show will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Hoping the Lake County folks who will be unable to attend the game will listen to the broadcast online. I'm also very pleased that WJPJ is able to bring this game to the folks in Humboldt.
