I do like Meigs chances in this one.  They can't beat themselves.

I think that is how this game is won.  The team that makes the fewest mistakes.  There will be one or two plays that really make the difference.  Much like was mentioned in last year's game when Meigs dropped a couple of would be first down passes.  Just as big was turning Meigs away twice inside the redzone early in the 3rd.

The winner will have to make the plays when they have the chance and capitalize when the opportunity comes.

That would probably be the Frame kid.  He is electric every time he touches it.  Kelly is a great back, but not like frame.

We might not agree on everything, but your right for sure about Frame. I think he could be in the running for Mr. Football in 1A.

Good post. Your probably not far off. We have to capitalize better than we did last year for sure.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
