Sounds like the game should have been a Covid forfeit since McMinn County team was under quarantine by the Tennessee Department of Health.

If they do have to play Tuesday then play Maryville Saturday then Oakland should have to play Saturday also.

I would agree, any later hurts Maryville's chances when they go on the road the following week (assuming they win this week).  Still, it's pretty brutal to send the McMinn/DB kids back out there with such a short recovery period.

I agree. I think that’s prob the most likely scenario. I don’t see a way McMinn advances honestly. I can kind of see nobody advancing in a no contest but ultimately I think DB moves on and McMinn is done for the year.

Other states are playing more games per week. GA ans SC come to mind without the google.
