Why did they not run the ball on TC last night?

Meadows ran for over 200 and Carrol had around 120, but sure, we couldn’t run the ball on TC. Lol.
To quote you from earlier “ignorance is blinding, watch the game from now on.”

Ganaway had 278 yards rushing last night and we had like 120 yards passing.

320 yards and 16 points ? Drives stalling or did TC tighten up in the redzone ?

One turnover and I believe 7 offensive penalties for false starts. From what our guys was saying TC was doing a lot of moving on that D line trying to get us to jump and even some imitating the snap count to get our guys to jump. Its strange this was the first game all year this has been a problem for us. It looks like the ref's would have stepped in at some point and said something.  No excuses. Meigs got to fix it.

We should have a couple more scores.

TC did stiffen up in 4th QTR.  They held us for I think 3 straight 3 and outs. It looked like our guys thought they had it wrapped up 16 to 0 in the 4th.  One first down during just one of those drives would have been huge and have helped close the game out without all that drama.

Your running game isnt anywhere close to what was last year and that’s a complement both ways

We haven’t ran Vaughn haven’t had to. He had 105yards on 5 carries in the first game against mckenzie. He is faster than dickson couple inches shorter and around the same weight. They said at the beginning of the year they didn’t want to start him both ways if they didn’t have to

Refs can’t do anything about the dline shifting

Meigs ran the ball all night but had 7 or 8 falls starts. That put them behind the chains, TC tuck advantage of Meigs OL being very aggressive and would shift the DL, causing Meigs to jump. Good coaching by TC.

Absolutely ! Our game was very competitive for very similar reason in first half ! Boldin had them boys ready and they capitlized when we made mistakes! In all honesty all the banter is fun but this is gonna be a slugfest !!!!!

Meadows is a year stronger and experienced. He will make a difference this year.  The biggest threat is the QB for Meigs this year.  He is a dual threat.  Meigs is coached extremely well from the HC down.  They will prepare well.  I noticed last year Peabody didn’t have to punt ANY.  That’s huge, but won’t be the case this year.  This will either be a shootout like 38-35, or low scoring like 14-10.

I’m just glad the teams that everyone thought would be playing have made it this far.

I agree ,and we both wouldn't have it any other way, maybe not the fan bases ,but Coach Fitz and Jacobs wanna beat the best so you can take that to the bank ! I am glad Covid didn't effect the season any more than it did !
