Peabody is a 1 a school, three balls in a row graduated 12 studs has won four in a row to a school three times there size! Coaching staff has a proven track record, we have nothing to prove ! If we loose to a 4 a team how does it hurt our credibility ? Need more ?

I agree Peabody has nothing to prove. But some folks would have everyone believe Milan does and that simply isn’t the case. The culture has completely changed since Diffee came in. We are winning, kids are working hard and happy. This game will serve to make both teams better and nothing more.

That I somewhat agree with ! I guess I would correct my post and say the town of Milan wants and needs it more but that wouldn’t be true either we are literally rabid”pun intended” to beat the Dawgs again ! We know it’s a uphill battle but there is a mutual hatred with a sick amount of respect at the same time for these schools! We are the little brother and they are the Big Bad Dawgs but when it’s all said and done 99% of each fan base can wish the other well ! All I know is Clip Board Jesus gonna be singin

I wouldn’t say Milan’s whole season is lost with an L but I would think Milan has more riding on a win than Peabody. In a way the roles have been reversed from resent past. Peabody has what Milan wants back. So I’d say Milan is playing more to get their pride back from “little brother”.  Peabody has the better shot at a gold ball win or lose and a loss to Milan doesn’t look near as bad than Gibson county

If Milan loses to Peabody  I  would you say the chances of Milan winning a 4a state championship are less likely

Peabody could have won the 4A title last year. I disagree. However this game is not a measuring stick in any way. It will show both teams what their strengths and weaknesses are and both will improve. That’s all that matters.
