WEEK 1: Powell vs Anderson County

A/C travels to Powell week 1.  The last 2 years this game has been a great one.  Both have been very close games.  Does A/C have enough to stop Powell's offense?  Does A/C have anyone that can block BIG Walter Nolen?  A/C does have some weapons, but will it be enough.  Score predictions, and thoughts.

If there is a game I want to see Powell win by 50, it's always this one. Hard to believe that AC has only beaten Powell once since 2011, and that was against a 1-win Powell team in 2014.

The one thing that gives me pause in this game is discipline. Powell has a talent advantage but they've really struggled keeping penalties to a minimum under Lowe, so I wonder how that will impact this game. I think this one will be close because of that, and because I expect a sloppy opener. Until AC proves they can beat Powell in a nail-biter, I'll take the Panthers by a TD.

I believe AC comes in with a chip on their shoulder with something to prove. I'm picking AC in the upset.

I’m assuming he is talking about Bearden forcing 2int’s and scoring against Powell 7-0 in one Quarter of work.  Held them out on a Goal line stand on the last play of the Quarter.

I wasn't there, but reports I got told me that Powell was less than impressive in tying my alma mater in Bearden 7-7. 

Couldn't finish drives. Can't do that when it counts.
