This just goes to show you polls are a joke and just an opinion to get people talking. I understand you can’t travel and watch every game on Friday night especially to a single A school. But I still find it funny after looking at the scores that’s how they ranked them.

Good at the top but then it goes all to heck. Many of us could do a much better job. A little research is all it takes.

Or at least look at last years scores it’ll be Gordy or Clay against SP, however we all know what the pirates are going through. I believe it was after watching Oakland Demolish that MS team on ESPN that Jones got cold Feet , or maybe watching some Trenton highlights…Who knows he’s gone and they are going to have to change some stuff up. They may have the skill players but they did last year too, some of the best single A kids i ever watched play in Stone and Frame. I doubt they have replaced them.

If you are going to vote in this poll, at least take five minutes to check the most recent scores from last week (and the first three for that matter). It is stuff like this that causes people to laugh at the AP poll.

This poll is blasphemous on many accounts. First off Fayetteville City has beaten two 2A teams and then a top ten 4A program not taking anything away from Peabody but what more does Fayetteville have to prove and they are the defending state champs in this class. Cornersville being ranked above Clay Co after getting routed by them last friday is appalling. South Pitt at 3 with having only played one game is crazy.

• Peabody is on a 40+ win streak.
• They are also defending State Champs (well, actually back-to-back-to-back State Champs, all in a higher classification).
• They have a returning Mr Football along with all the other skilled positions. 
• They beat one of the best 2A teams in the State with a 5 Star QB.
• They beat a solid 4A team in Milan that was 3A runner-up last year.
• Both of which would beat the brakes off Watertown and Wayne County, respectfully.

I'm not by a mile saying Fayetteville isn't legit, but downplaying Peabody like City should absolutely be ahead of them is moronic.
