That Stone and Grider man need to pull some tricks out of their bags.  I have been looking at Oakland's roster and, as everyone knows, they are stacked.  They are #26 in the nation which is going to be crazy to see at Beene Stadium. The back up running back is a 3 star prospect too add to their receiver that's committed to Miami and the back that is committed to UGA ( which is averaging over 9 per carry ).  I know they will call they dogs off early but you can't tell the young kids to not show out.  Their JV is more talented than SP's starters and that stems from location and size of the school. I am not saying anything to bash SP by any means but I will say this.... If SP can put any points on the board then it's considered a W for SP.  I would give @Roy Dillard's whole Lodge cast iron collection to see SP get the ball first and pull off some kind of trick play to score quick and lead. Honestly though SP will have a tough time crossing the 50.

10th in the nation

Roy, this Creasy man is gonna be real mad when he gets to Beene Stadium and sees this Grey cup Jones man not there.

He already beat this Super bowl Dilfer man and took his super bowl ring away from him.  He was wanting to add a Grey cup ring to that collection.

That man at Ronnies red eye said the sos Jones man was sending genotard to talk to that Creasy man and try to explain the situation.  You think im joking but im not.

It does help that Oakland is a 6A school in the middle of an area that is growing, but theyve taken the Maryville approach to building a program, starting with the peewee teams and working their way up to Varsity. It's nice to get the high profile transfer, but Oakland is where they are with primarily kids that they have developed.

Best thing SP can do is go right after Oakland between the tackles;you try going boundary to boundary it'll just get ugly, will allow them to use their speed.

For their defense, SP is just gonna have to accept the fact that Oakland is gonna beat you by land or air, so choose which one and commit to it. Most teams choose to stack the LOS, which probably the right decision. Jordan James gets alot of ink, but Antonio Patterson would start at 99% of the programs in this state and trying to tackle Hewitt (QB) is literally like trying to tackle a TE ( Position he primarily played at Riverdale)

I know alot of people question whether this game should even be played, but by doing so, SP will have gained alot of respect by people in this state, you guys got more guts than alot of 5A/6A programs. It allows our kids at Oakland to play at one of the best environments in the state. It allows SP to see a powerhouse program up close, which will prepare them better for the playoffs and maybe be able to take something Oakland does and use it for their own program.

I hope for an injury free game and hopefully this will also be on the books for the 2022 season

This game will not prepare sp all for the playoffs imo.  No good will come from it, even respect.  Sp already has everyone's respect.  Playing a 6a school that can name their score won't do anything for the sp program.  Hopefully there are no serious injuries close to playoff time.

I agree with this. It does nothing for SP. If anything it hurts SP playing a team like this before the playoffs. I will add this to my previous post.... if SP comes away with no injuries they can count that as a W too. This was honestly a stupid decision on whomever was for this game happening.

SP won’t budge between the tackles and their only hope for a first down is outside

I 100% agree with both posts.SP is were all 1A teams wanted to be for years so they have the respect. This team needs positive things right now and this game has nothing positive about it.
