TheBlueprint
I still haven’t bought into the Clay Co hype this year.. GVille takes this one 28-
Boarhog
I know that Clay’s opponents have been less than stellar, but I find it hard to believe that the Tigers will put up anymore than 21 in this one. Dawg D is pretty darn good. That being said Gville QB is a definite X Factor. I’ve been impressed with that young man since I saw him play up as an 8th grader, he’s a stud. When we won in ‘19 he was out with a broken foot, I believe it was.

tcjacket13
I will continue with my belief that Gville wins this one by 14 or so.

Gville is Celina’s second most played opponent, with Monterey being the first. Y’all are dominating the series.

Grunt
Hard for me to make a prediction in this one, not having seen Clay play. Gordy played us pretty close, based on that, I'd have to say Gordy takes it, but no money on it either way. Hope both survive injury free.

Enthusiast
Well, for a long time the series was pretty much split. It always seemed dark in Celina. Locker room was dark, Clay Co.’s jerseys were dark. It was tackle the dark ball, against the dark jersey under the dimmed lights.haha Edited October 25, 2021 by Enthusiast

We may be dominating the seriea but there’s been some good ones along the way. My Sophomore year, 85 we got popped right in the chops all night long. That bunch were beasts! I got a lot of memories of some of the Dawgs through the years. Them Reecer boys must have played from the time they left the womb. Ogletree played rugged! Hull was as good a RB you boys ever had. I mean Arms, Strong, Watson. I was truly sad when the Coach from that time period passed away! Always friendly wherever you saw him and dear lord he had forearms like tree trunks! I haven’t seen them this year. Everyone is kinda taking SP out of the conversation this year it seems, but I’ll be the first to say that SP is the standard and whoever advances (Gville,Clay, Coalfield, etc.) is gonna have to sink the Pirates ship which is seldom done. I agree
