HTV
Hearing that both teams are really banged up. Both could be missing some guys on Friday. Things change.

He'll be fine. On the game on Friday, the two common opponents are Halls and Maryville. Similar results against Halls, Powell won by 7, West Won by 8. Against Maryville, Powell had a little more offensive success, all be it some of it was late against Maryville's backups. Powell lost that game 52-31, while Maryville beat West 35-7. Should be an interesting game, for sure, and with it being a TV game, a long game. You think this "could": be the state championship?

WestHigh4Life
Next man up for West...they said the same thing when Blair went down and when all those kids transferred...they really are OneWest!
AllVol2012
If the rebs could start going up tempo minimizing substitutions and hitting the perimeter more with quick slants and screens that would definitely neutralize Nolen.. but i know running the ball north and south is the their bread and butter.. Probably not, but HC is white hot right now. Don't let the record fool you, they're playing very well and battle tested

Walter didn't go out until about 6-7 minutes left in the game... Rhea scored the first of their touchdowns about three plays after Nolen went out. If Walter wasn't as big as he is, no one would even be talking about him. JMO. With that being said, he is huge and he has the ability to turn a game by just taking up 2 positions. lol. Powell did go into a running mode to work on their running game in the second half, so, I agree with the comment that they could have scored a couple more times. However, I don't think that Powell is in this game past the second quarter... maybe the first. I still hope I am wrong, and Powell pulls off the huge upset. "If Walter wasn't as big as he is, no one would even be talking about him. JMO. With that being said, he is huge and he has the ability to turn a game by just taking up 2 positions. lol." This could be said about any DT/DE in Power 5 over the last two decades ranked in the Top 10 recruiting. Yet to see a 5'6 DT ranked #2 for a reason. JohnnyUtah
Should be a solid game with the winner favored to win state. West has momentum on their side, Powell has the pucker factor on their side. If Collins was playing I'd say Powell by two scores, as this game is the type where those not named Green or Redmond shine. With that said, the difference is Foust getting touches and scores. I wouldn't be surprised to see West win, as Powell likes to fumble these games away but this is the year if Powell is going is going to win it all. Powell 38 West
