I know Upperman will have CoBB and Johnson returning. It bothers improve over the off-season they could be looking at two miss basketball contestants. If we have a shooter and point guard set up they could be looking at another run to the Championship. Who else will be there in the mix?

Page will take a pretty big step back next year. Dyer County will take a big step back as well.
The other 6 AAA teams from this year’s tourney will be really good again.

Lilly Baggett broke her leg in the District Championship for South Gibson against South Side this year. I am not so sure Creekwood would have beat South Gibson healthy considering we played both teams. South Gibson has a great ball handling PG coming up from Jr High as well. Embrey got their late last year so she has them all year now. If she changes the culture as much in year 2 as she did in year 1 look out. Dyersburg will be back as well. South Side has always been tough. Injuries has been their Achilles Heel for the last four or five years. Was this year as well. Nobody beats them this year with a healthy Currie-Jelks.

I hate that for Baggett! I had them upsetting Creek Wood in CW, unfortunately we know about them injury bugs! We will definitely have the top 10 teams in our district next year. South Gibson is tough! I wish Sharnecce Currie-Jelks could’ve played & really showed ppl how great of a player she was! We definitely wouldn’t have had to double #44 from Upperman!

No certain order

Fayette Ware girls return everything!

South Side return a lot!

South Gibson returns everyone!

Upperman just because they are the defending champion!

Page & White County & Greenville I have no clue!

There is at least 1-2 sleepers out there that will get hot like Upperman did this year! From 4th in district to state champions!

    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say the have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
    • Crazy how the thread just gets deleted when facts come out.
    • I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
    • 7 Pages of complaining because the lacrosse team put removable lines on the field so that they could practice/play lacrosse  Y'all boys are bored huh lol
