One of the best High School football games I have ever seen. Class shown by both teams. The players from both teams gave everything they had for four quarters and the game was decided on the last play.

Peabody don’t have anything to do with where TSSAA puts the cutoffs. They beat the state 2 A champs last year. Peabody don’t duck from nobody.

We continued to play Dresden after we moved back to 2a. The last time we played them they tried to hurt baugus several late hits and thumbs up to their side line with a few high fives that ended that series.

Yep never will forget ! I really thought Jacobs was fixin to scrap ! Never will forget Jacobs there rolling my kid up they trying to hurt him and cheering about it !!!!

Hit him way late on purpose what like 3-4  times ? then their players tried to start a fight on our sideline

Man this idiot done United the base ! Bad thing is I’m just as pissed at this fool talking about MCKenzie and other schools just as bad !  Look at facts again in 2018 the 2 smallest 2 A schools duked it out in a heck of a game for gold ! The crying is pitiful ! Trenton got our tails kicked for ever being in divisions with huge schools so what , play the darn game and shut up !!!

Little sensitive are we? No doubt Trenton has been in a class of there own last several years. But seriously ask yourself this one question do you really belong in a class with teams that alot less to choice from? Blame it on enrollment numbers. Drove by that school the other day and if your enrollment numbers are true then 2/3rds of your kids drive two vehicles and leave one there. Scoreboard always settles everything if you win then you win. Gotta play the hand you are giving.

      Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say the have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?

      I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
