Starting to hear some feedback on the Eagleton hire from a few William Blount former players dads that pretty much all said the same thing " Can't believe they passed up some of the high profile names that applied for that job". Most said they dumped to much money into that program to not have made a hire to match. If that was your choice why wasn'y it when they were in a scramble last year when when they were on staff at that time also. I do hope the new coach only the best especially having been at Maryville before but hope he didn't pick up to many fleas and bedbugs while at William Blount.

This thread has gone  silent.  Any word on good assistants being hired. Grapevine says they are having trouble, wonder why?

Actually most other threads are dead also including Maryville. The county is famous for making the wrong hire but he does have Maryville ties but hope he hasn't been around Shad long enough to have caught any of his fleas. It will take an extra good exterminator to rid William Blount of the flea infestation there.

Ran into a non-faculty coach a couple of days ago and asked if they have hired any qualified assistants and he could not name a coach with the exception of the head coach could be a very interesting situation developing.

I sure hope Scott West is broadcasting The Eagleton Football games like he did when he was at Maryville. I enjoy either being at a game and watching another one that would be my next choice to go to or if I stay home I have a laptop, computer and two pads with games going.

I’ve been in town for the last few days and are actually about to leave to head home. I come up a few times a year with the family. I will give you a shout next time I’m up this way. Probably at Christmas. Sorry I missed you. But I did leave the barber a little present. Had to class up the shop a bit and thank him for the NIL money he sends our way.
