This one is a tough one to call.  Both the Dawgs and the Hornets look impressive.  So at this point, I'm going to call it a toss up.

I’m hearing I haven’t seen though, that south Gibson is running well in that spread offense  I’m anxious to see how this game pans out.

They are running spread very well this will be a 1 touchdown score game. South Gibson defense is impressive

I think the old offense South Gibson ran would be more effective against Milan. Teams have had success running right at Milan this year. Going North/South has shown Milan to be a tad soft defensively. When teams have tried to get the edge or vertical our defense has responded well.  I’m sure South Gibson’s coaches have noticed this and will prepare accordingly. I’m sure Milan’s coaches are expecting that and will prepare accordingly as well.

These in-county rivalries are fun, aren’t they? The big thing is the winner gets bragging rights for a whole year. A little added incentive, huh?

i’m not familiar enough with either team to predict a winner, since y’all moved up out of Covington’s region. But, This would be a fine game to watch.

Yes I was born there and then moved with parents to Union City. Had two cousins on two of Milan’s state championships teams. There was a old mechanic shop there that closed a few years back called Wheelers sales and Service heading towards Bradford. My Grandparents owned it for 60 something years. The sold the wooden buildings the last 5 or so years before my grandfather passed away.

I would anticipate this being one of the games of the week. Would not be at all surprised if tickets are SOLD OUT well before game day. Milan uses NFHS to stream there home games only. Not sure if anybody streams South Gibson games. I don't personally hear much out of them. I'd love to stream that game as my game is on Thursday. Should be a great atmosphere.
