WestTNBuc
Any thoughts on how this game will go? I don't believe they have any common opponents yet and are both coming off cupcake games last night.
Kublah
JCS has played a weak schedule so far, but boy have they been putting up some huge numbers. That’s no fault of theirs though, those normally tough Memphis DII-AA teams are all way down this year. I’m going to have to watch some film to prognosticate on this one, but as a USJ fan I’m not so sure JCS won’t be the best team we’ve played this year. Should be a game for the ages. CougarDadx2
All eyes on this one - I think USJ is the stronger.

Tigersandcats
USJ plays like they did against my Tigers and they should get it done. Hope They do anyway. Go Bruins!
YBsostupid
JC has an excellent pro style passer who makes great reads at QB and several receivers who run great routes and catch well. For like the 30th year in a row....so does USJ. This could be as entertaining as the game the year before last which was worth several times more than the cost of admission. Kublah
Watched some of JCS against ECS. JCS has some serious weapons and can spread the ball out. I do think USJ can pressure their QB and also has the size and speed at corner to make some stops against JCS’s playmakers. On offense USJ has a nice balanced attack, and should be able to pound the ball and control the clock if they need. Overall I think USJ is a bit better, but JCS’s playmakers and the general chaos that can happen when these two meet mean anything can happen. tradertwo
It would shock me if USJ doesn't use the O line that Hardin Co. couldn't overcome and grind out first downs until the horn sounds...at least until JCS sells out to stop it and gives up easy yards through the air. Classic formula to defeat a great offense is to give them splinters from squirming on the bench.

There is alot of pressure on USJ to win a state title this year. Why? Because the chances are very strong that they will move up to D2AA next season. The task would be significantly more difficult as they already know. It still raises the hair on the back of the necks of USJ faithful that JCS has a gold ball and they don't. I personally think that USJ needs to grind the clock because JCS is so explosive with Boyd in the backfield and Mosley at WR. USJ has faced a much better schedule to date. Union City and Hardin County would beat anyone that JCS has played to date. I think JCS has to find more ways to get Mosley the ball. He needs more passes thrown his way and he needs more touches with the jet sweep/reverse. Personally, I would also drop him in the backfield as a deep "I" formation tailback and let him run student body left and right all night. You might stop him or slow him early but as the night wears on, Mosley would dominate. That's just my opinion. The DL for USJ must get some penetration. If JCS wants to win, they have to find a way to get over the "USJ Mistique". Throw out 2 years ago as that was a fluke win. USJ has to be wary of costly penalties. I'd say the over/under on unsportsmanlike penalties is at least 2.5. Bottom line is that there is more pressure on USJ in my opinion for a variety of reasons. Some I have mentioned, some I have not. With all that being said, Ric Flair was always at his best when his back was against the wall. I feel something will happen to throw JCS off of their game plan and USJ will be there to take advantage of it. USJ football is on the clock. I think they have this one tonight and they will shout "Woooo" when all is said and done tonight. 1
