Jackets will not throw it at will. You must be smoking something or delusional. We have the best group of DB's we've had in a long time. Of course, just my opinion....

REALLY?! #1 alone is a walking liability to fall just getting off the bus.

I'm just hoping for a rain free, injury free game.

IMO Jackets have the best passing game they've had since 2010...

Plenty of receivers and a QB who can put it anywhere on the field.

2 of our top pass catchers this season didn't play against Henry either time last year.

Henry does what they do, if the Jackets can slow down there run and put them in obvious passing situations (3&7+) the Jackets may surprise some with the outcome. Henry cant keep up with the Jackets in the air.

But this is all IF'S! they have to line up and play @7 on Friday.

Having watched both of these QBs multiple times, I will take Damron’s passing ability.

ok 49-0 Beech

got it

Ok… I don’t think that will be the case, but I really don’t think Springfield is on the same level as Beech. Yes, they were up 17-7at one point last year, but then Beech scored 24 unanswered before your commentator said “you can’t give up”. I think the last time Springfield beat Beech was 2006? But this isn’t about Beech this week and I’m not making that prediction. We will wait and see what happens this week

This went way sideways because I predicted HC to win by 20. I may be wrong and I assure you if I am I will gladly come back and admit it. It’s not a knock on Springfield, I just don’t think they can beat HC. I think some inflated numbers against bad opponents and a #3 AP make my prediction a little bold… we shall see.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
