So 6 teams in each for 5AA and 6AA. And in someone else's post they said there were 12 teams in Memphis that would be split between 7AA and 8AA. The reason I ask is if those 4 regions have 6 teams each then that leaves 27 teams to be split between Regions 1-4 in AA. (7,7,7,6 most likely)

Think your spot on.That would leave teams in our 2 regions needing to find 5 more games.Think LC will continue playing Fulton Co.,Gibson Co,West Carroll, and last two games between Trenton,Obion Central due to the proximity and money  or Gleason.Just my thinking.Id rather continue playing Trenton personally ,tougher competition .So hoping just drop Haywood and keep Trenton.Could be a possibility of playing Dresden.Id like to see that and drop Fulton Co.But think LC will keep a couple tough games non region and not as tough other 2 games. But then again.Gibson Co may   very well be  improved.May not be many breathers.

My thought is I can't stand the few 4 team regions there are now. 5 teams is no better. To me 6 and 7 team regions are ideal. However, travel should be a consideration as well. What ever plan is adopted, there are always going to be a few schools who just have to bit the bullet on travel. You will never get them all evenly balanced with short travel. It's an impossible task

    • Actually that young kid was in an offense that loved to throw the ball I believe.    Biggest problem for MC is if the coaching staff can figure out which mouths to feed at the appropriate time.
    • Have you ever been in education (administration) or a head coach? You’re responsible for all aspects of your program. If you were not checking the kids information correctly and left it up to someone else and they mess up. You’re held liable because it’s a failure on supervision, implementation of TSSAA eligibility and your school’s eligibility. Remember the wording in the article for him “CONTRACT NOT RENEWED” coaches are on a year to year contract and don’t sign the contract again until July. Do I believe he still should’ve been let go? Yes because you’re responsible for the total program and should be aware of everything going on. Do I believe he knew about the grade changes? No and that’s because nobody brought his name up until things got really bad and there is no indication with any paperwork showing he did. It’s just word of mouth from a teacher trying to cover herself.
    • TSSAA won't ever issue a death penalty, worst case scenario would be a post-season penalty that makes Clinton ineligible for the playoffs for a year or two (I believe 3 years is the most I have ever seen).  But TSSAA only does that in extremely rare circumstances.
    • I just want to echo that sentiment. Coach Woodmore is a good man and he is going to do things the right way and expect these kids to do things the right way. He will help grow them into fine young men. The wins will follow. I think Bolivar hit a home run.
