Ok maybe he should have put Alumni of in front of the Schools part.  (I knew where he was going when he said LEGAL TSSAA NIL Program).  I'm not an attorney either and could see the way to work around

Well it’s 2-1 Maryville but I’ve had a very hard time concentrating because Coach Vitello is here and I can’t take my eyes off of him :wub:

Thoughts from cukeville:

1) still 1:40 to cukeville and it was kinda good to be back. I missed the first series.

bee) The murvil offense moved the ball steadily both running and throwing.

see) The murvil D slowed endsworth on most drives. active group of LBs.

dee) it was hard to figure endsworth out. They had some big guys and a couple of ultratalented guys, but they looked young at the skill spots.

V) Murvil looked big at some spots and biggest takeaway was the talent at both rb and wr. Hopefully, that sputtering offense of last year is gone. Both QBs looked fine and were both able to effectively run and throw the ball.

sx) Both 3 lucy and ricky were mentioned alot again tonight.

7)  the scrimmage was set up with situations and 10 play drives. To my knowledge, there were no serious injuries! Hoping for safe travels back I40.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
