Meanwhile Greenville has seniors and juniors starting with tons of experience and still lost. Dyersburg has a bright future.. this is experience for them.

Dyersburg is going to be tough to beat over the next several years. They got their state tournament experience this year with a group of freshman and sophomores. You add in current 8th grader KayKay Strayhorn and Dyersburg is going to be tough to deal with for the next 2-3 years. The guard trio of Chelby Jordan, Joya Crawford, and KayKay Strayhorn is as good as you will find in AAA in the coming years.

Come on Mannn "Garbage"! That's a little harsh don't you think. Garbage teams don't make it to Murfreesboro.  Nobody and I mean nobody outside of the Dburg girls and coaching staff expected the girls to make it as far as they did this year. This team is basically all Freshmen with a sophmore and 1 junior in the rotation. Think about that, these girls were playing middle school ball last year and this year they are in the state tournament. This was great experience for them and hopefully they regroup and come back next year.

Wow. Nothing like calling kids garbage. Great look for your program and community.

Six wins last year, second year coach, three freshman starters, one sophomore starter (who scored 33) and one Junior starter.

Exactly. And don’t forget about the return of Kalli McLin, who would’ve been eligible in the Semifinal.

This group of kids all but the freshman have a gold ball state championship so for the seniors it’s been a great run. I am officially a Hogwye fan now. Lol.

The way the game was called they allowed a lot of handchecking in aggressive play up top which played right into the game of southside. Upperman was never able to overcome the guard pressure by southside, which I knew would be a problem for us if they called it loose now. They call it tight different ball game but Best team won on the floor and that’s all that counts
