I thiink the bigger question is, "When does this sloppy recruiting attract the interest of TSSAA?"

TSSAA is already on the radar. KCS athletic director is also looking into what is going on especially regarding to how many out of zone freshman are enrolling in to BHS to play football. Plus BHS is an already over crowded school. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and right now BHS is more squeaky than Powell, Fulton, Central, or probably any other school ever in the area.

And out come the finger pointers again.

That's what happens when the same people who have been playing in the margins for years suddenly begin to be outworked and don't like it.

Figures.

Just for clarification, you primarily support Powell and Bearden right?

What a summary. BHS has been shutout in 8 of 14 meetings since 2009. Including a run of 6 years without scoring a point against MHS.

I'm surprised with the major loss of starting defensive players last year how they can rebound back on that side of the ball unless they have some great defensive coaches like Maryville when Gaylor was there. I wasn't impressed by their offense at all. The defense was very tough especially the front seven which six are now gone including that big defensive end that looked like he came off an NFL sideline. I'm sure Josh Jones will do well bringing in good prospects but I really don't think Bearden is his final stop and if he does well the private schools will open those wallets because he fits the bill as a great recruiter which they like. The line of kids coming from other schools will also stop when that happens and Bearden will return to it's normal habaitat  of 3-7 to 5-5 teams. The only concern I have regarding Maryville is to not set on our azz like we have Alcoa and let them out do us and not do a thing about it.

I don't have a dog in this fight. Just know some people that are unhappy with what is going on at BHS. What l am hearing is from Bearden people that don't support HBC methods. lts hard enough for a team to beat its opponents when your own people aren' t behind how you are trying to win. One of the keys in this is the HVA connection with BHS.
