Anything going on at USJ???

A problem could be issues between the Ayers' and the USJ administrator. He may not care as much as the coaches like. The Ayers' daughter is a star softball player. They will want to move to a program that has a strong softball program in addition to a strong basketball program.

This kid has no need for a "recruiting process"...with her obvious talent, the Ayers family will have to schedule appointments for her recruitment. I have no inside knowledge at all, but at USJ her team would basically be playing for a silver ball unless something derails the dynasty being built to the east of the river. If you're competitive, winning matters and there's virtually no chance in their division while competing against a nationwide all-star team.

And a silver ball is not good enough at USJ regardless of any sport. What's tough for the coach over at USJ is that the fans/boosters don't care what goes on across the river. They want championships.

How many state championships does USJ have in all sports?  I know their baseball team won win Coach Brad Dyer was there. I'm just curious. Because if they settle for nothing less than championships they would be a revolving door for coaches and will always be. They just are not that good.

The "hop on the Dyer bus" brought them 3 championships I think. They also won on 2012 and 2014 I believe. Girls soccer won the last two seasons. I don't know about their boys soccer, tennis, golf, etc..

They have won several. 5 in baseball I know. They have won multiple in soccer boys and girls, golf, tennis, softball……and more I imagine. They won runner up in girls a couple of years. They have had some serious talent in girls. North Point knocked them out a few times. I do know that there was a vote to make boarding schools set out a year with TSSAA and it didn’t pass. I am pretty sure it was schools protesting Webb.

Rockvale girls won the title by five shots over Providence  Christian 155-`160 after the Lions won the 1913 Invitational at Johnson City by 10 shots over Greeneville. The Webb School boys had Phet Phothong score a 69 while Carter  Burks shot 70 following up his 72 in Johnson City on Monday. The girls had Solia Mechling of Rockvale lead the way with a 73 in taking the title as they improved their score by 30 shots over Monday in East Tennessee as they found the homestead Indian Hills to their liking.  Rockvale and Central Magnet will head to the Battle of Hermitage on Wednesday July 31st. On Tuesday Stewarts Creek and Smyrna will do battle at Smyrna Golf Course  with an early tee time of 11 AM. The next day Oakland, Webb and Nolensville will tee off at Champions Run beginning at 9 AM.
