My son played at Bethel on turf and hated it

Jeremiah Ligon put on a performance that’s still unforgettable nearly 30 years later.  
 

It was the first TSSAA State Playoff Win in the history of the Cheatham County Cubs Football Program.

Turf is different too...heard that Milan's new turf isn't great, but that Camden's is. Gotta do homework and pick the good stuff. Can't remember the brand, but some independent research shows one particular that actually has fewer lower extremity injuries than grass. Most brands are now much better than the old "astroturf" garbage, but still a wide range of product.

Lots of good memories on that field going back to a kid. Two hardest hit I've ever seen at any level of the game happened there.

But, if you get the right turf it's not a problem. And it's got to be safer that the cow pasture I played on when I was there.

slomon we all played football at the end of the endzone as kids we worked out almost as much as the team did lol

me bart stowe and a few others were always in the endzone with our little lhs footballs lol reall great memories js.

It is shocking to see Lexington have a down year in football. Is it injuries to some key players or a talent pool thing right now or what? I don’t expect them to stay down long though. To good of a program for that.
