Is the Lexington job a job that a lot of coaches would want to go after? Do they still have a lot talent there or upcoming? Also how does it play out with the old coach becoming the county AD

You know how rumors are, some of the ones you think are probably true aren't, and some of the ones that get the eye-rolls are... there are some legit names being dropped as "interested", but too early to link anyone as even a good possibility yet. With the pay rate, new stadium and the Tigers history I think some upper level coaches will be in the conversation.

Yeah that is very true. Lexington usually has a good football team with a down year thrown in there. Isn't there another Hollingsworth on the staff there. Would they promote him to Head Coach?

It could happen, but highly doubtful.

I wish them well, but this is funny.  They are only 3-6 against county rival 1A Dresden in the past decade (didn't play in '20). Those 3 wins were Ty Simpson. So, lets see who they've hired and how it works out before claiming they're gonna win the SEC or be enshrined in Canton.

Funny? Westview will hang 60 on Dresden next year! And probably the next 5 years. I have no clue what the SEC or Canton has to do with West Tenn football but I guarantee you this, the Region will go thru Martin for the next few years and you can take that to the bank!

I have heard some really good names. Who have they had their eye on?

Westview Chargers have their coach. They have had him for awhile now. I will not give you his name until it is announced, but I will tell you he coached Gavin and Montez several years ago. Westview Chargers will be real good again and will be mercy ruling some of the teams in west Tennessee. It will happen. I guarantee it. Watch and see. Do you want to bet me? I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

Usually don’t post, but curious to know what you thought about the chances of promoting from within their staff?

I agree, I can definitely see this happening!

    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
