Dresden stopped them from running at all dresden was either in there back field every play or meeting them 1x1 outside. There passing game was crisp they shredded Dresdens secondary. So either Dresden is that tough to run against or TCA and West Carroll o-line can't run block.

Gotcha! Thanks for the info!! I'm sure Dresden was a tough test!

Nah. We will be lucky to field a team. Bunch a small fellas with zero athletic ability. The mighty Stanks have nothing to worry about. :)

Milan finally wised up and hired a proven coach. Milan made some bad decisions by not hiring proven winners. A program of Milans stature should never have made those hires. Comer is good and he's proven he can beat the Mustangs. Lot different culture in Milan than Mckenzie, we will see how that works out.

just a bunch of one legged boys in a butt kicking contest. Small and slow. Don't worry about them. Nothing to see in Windy City.

Gotcha. Looking forward to watching them this year! They were fun to watch last year.

I still want to see Covington vs. Union City (jamboree tonight (8/16)) and Covington vs. Munford (8/22), but I would have Huntingdon ahead of my Covington squad right now, because the Mustangs beat us in last week’s scrimmage of varsity vs. varsity.

    • So far it looks like Summertown, East Hickman and mTp are in the lead. Last years region champions got beat by Lawrenceburg but Summertown handled them. However, EH scheduled up and beat 3A Fairview which is Fairview's only loss on the season thus far. It also looks like other teams in R5 have scheduled some 3A-4A teams on their out of region schedule to get better by playoffs.    Who has what for R6? I just do not know enough about those teams over there with the exception of Riverside because they used to play Hohenwald before they became so dominant and were moved to R6.
    • I don’t expect anything less from LC, they always play us tough, there’s been some pretty high scoring games between us over the years. With you as well,  turnovers may just come down to that, and whoever has the ball last, just hope it’s us!
    • Thanks for the interesting info. The field they play on now, is that the same field they have always used from the begining.
    • I’d rather be 1-2 against a grueling schedule with an injured team, than 3-0 with a cakewalk schedule and a perfectly healthy team.
    • I too was at that game...on the sideline....and that is not what happened. The Martin coach got on to his player for his mistake and did not say anything to the Dyersburg sideline. He did not even come out far enough on the field that you could have heard from the Dyersburg sideline what he said, so that is you just ASSuming and not actually knowing.
