Huntingdon getting the win over them was impressive. Huntingdon has a sophomore that will get a shot at Mr Basketball before he graduates. Sounds like Camden is looking pretty good and plays Huntingdon tomorrow night. Loretto is going to be hard to handle and has to be the favorite in 2a

I’d like to know Camden FG percentage tonight. The Melton kid is impressive and scored at will. Huntingdon has to make some adjustments during games. Need to get a home substate game to get to the glass house. They move to Class A next year and will be loaded! From what I seen last night, Jackson is the best AA in the Upper Cumberland right now but there is a very small gap between them and Smith County. Smith County is a bunch of Freshmen and Sophomore's and if they hit a few more free throws they would have beat Jackson. I would say the district championship could be very interesting. Jackson County's timing to move down to single A next year might be a good thing for them, because Smith County is fixing to be the real deal. Talent will get you only so far...when it comes the time that talent is equal and composure decides the game, this edition of Camden will have trouble advancing. On the football field or on the hardwood, attitude and desire matter...the desire may be there, but the attitude?

Kingston and Tellico play for the first time next week and I’m excited to see how they match up. They are both long, athletic, press the whole game and run run run. Aaron Layne (Kingston) and Rylan Woods (Tellico Plains) both could be 2A Mr. Basketball noms. This game will finally be played Monday after a couple of cancellations. Kingston is the reigning District champ and last year it was “Tellico is young, but has great potential.” and now the Bears are here, ranked t5 in the state by TSWA. Tyner will be a tough out in region, but the winner of Kingston/Tyner/Tellico will do good to avoid Alcoa in the sectional.
Fryinpan66
Heritage is a good team out of District 6. They are 17-3 and haven’t played their best basketball IMO. The Loss to Harpeth was the 1st game of the season when they still had their PG & SG still playing Football. They Lost to a good Beech team and Lost on a buzzer beater to Gallatin. The Patriots made it to the Sectionals last year and lost in OT to East Nashville. This team could be better. Time will tell!

UCSportsFan
This is last year for Alcoa in AA. Alcoa is moving up in classification after this year. They moving up in football so I’m sure they are stepping up in other sports as well.
